I saw a commercial the other day where someone gives some advice to their younger selves and it got me thinking about what pearls of wisdom I might impart on my young(er) self.
It wouldn't be the typical go for your dreams type stuff. Nope. My advice would be to not trust people. Having been scammed not once, but twice in my life, I will have to work for a good five years longer than my wife as I try to offset my losses.
The worst mistake you can make is to assume that others abide by more or less the same values as you do. As we've seen with the rise in terror attacks in recent years, there are many people who actively seek to hurt us.
Be wary of those who will befriend you only to try to get as much out of you as possible. Success breeds envy and attracts con artists like a magnet.
So there, young Rob. To you I say, build a wall around yourself, and be careful whom you let through.

But also some really stupid things like twerking, selfies and gods." - YouTube comment
Rob always uses MochaHost for IT project hosting. They are simply the best.
